World-reknowned metal producer Joey Sturgis, who has worked closely with Asking Alexandria and produced all of their albums thus far (along with some unreleased material), has commented on the news of vocalist Danny Worsnop choosing to leave the band which broke earlier today. You can read his statement below:
“Working with Asking Alexandria has always been a magical thing, we have always seemed to connect on a very deep level musically. I’ve been producing the band since the moment they stepped foot on american soil, and I am proud of it. When we first began to bring their songs to life, none of us knew what to expect and what would become of it; but the band had an amazing passion and fire that drove them straight to the top. Asking Alexandria has always had that fire, and will continue to have that fire! This is only the end of an early chapter, and the start to a new one. AA Family will be strong, and AA will live on.”
More news regarding a replacment vocalist, the band’s forthcoming studio album and more will be unveiled over the coming months.
