Essex rock darlings InMe have just released a video for their brand new single, ‘Blood Orange Lake’, which comes from their long-awaited seventh full-length, ‘Jumpstart Hope’.
The forthcoming record will be the band’s first album in almost five years, and the follow-up to 2015’s ‘Trilogy: Dawn’.
Speaking about the song, founding member and frontman Dave McPherson commented.
“This is an honest ode to self-loathing whilst also being a song about loving someone so much you believe they are the one. ‘Blood Orange Lake’ has evolved a great deal from its initial form, starting out as a strange electronic song before my brother (Greg) got hold of it and shaped it even further. It’s a crazy, heavy, brutal love song.”
The band’s seventh studio album, ‘Jumpstart Hope’, will be released in January 2020 via Killing Moon Records.
Pre-order options are expected to be made available soon.
