Having been without a full-time drummer for a good part of the year following Joe Rickard‘s departure, Swedish metal band In Flames appear to have filled that vacancy with Tanner Wayne.
Wayne formerly performed with both Scary Kids Scaring Kids very briefly for one tour in 2009, and more prolifically with Chiodos in 2010 to 2012, appearing on their third album, ‘Illuminaudio’.
Guitarist Niclas Englin also shared an image taken from a recent show on his Instagram account, both showing and tagging in Wayne.
Though an official statement from In Flames has not been issued yet, Wayne made his debut live appearance with the band earlier this week on July 4th 2018 in Brno, Czech Republic.
The band’s latest album, ‘Battles’, is out now through Century Media Records.
