Cardiff based up-and-comers, and one of the bands we’ve tipped to keep a close eye on this year, Holding Absence have just announced that they’ve signed a deal with LA based label SharpTone Records, becoming the latest addition to the roster.
Having been founded in June 2016 by Nuclear Blast CEO Markus Staiger and Sumerian Records‘ former Vice President Shawn Keith, the SharpTone Records roster already boasts the likes of Emmure, Attila, Miss May I, and Don Broco, to name a few.
The band’s first release via the label will be a limited edition double 7″ vinyl of their singles, ‘Permanent’ and ‘Dream Of Me’, set for release on Record Store Day (April 15th 2017).
The videos for both tracks can be streamed and viewed via the embeds posted below:
The band are also reportedly working on their debut full-length album, which is expected to a see a release towards the end of the year. More new surrounding the record, and more activity with the band, will be confirmed as and when it develops.
