NEWS: HIM decide to call it day; announce farewell tour!

After a 26 year along career, forming in Helsinki, Finland back in 1991 and releasing eight studio full-length records, self-proclaimed pioneers of love metal HIM (short for His Infernal Majesty) have announced that they’ll be calling it a day, stating that they feel the band “has run its unnatural course and adieus must be said”.

The band confirmed the news earlier today (March 5th 2017) via their official Facebook account, releasing a full statement.

Though there’s no plans to release anything further before they throw in the towel, the band have confirmed a farewell tour, which will see the band performing throughout Europe and the UK at the end of the year, with US and Finnish dates yet to be finalised and announced.

Tickets for all dates of the tour go on sale from 9:00AM this Wednesday (March 8th 2017).

The band’s final full-length album, ‘Tears On Tape’, is available now through Cooking Vinyl.
