The organisers of the annual Hevy Fest have announced that they will be switching things up next year, relocating from the Port Lympne Animal Park to Newhaven, Derbyshire. You can read a statement from the organizers below, explaining the decision:
“Hevy Fest has been held at Port Lympne since 2010. During that time we’ve raised over £100,000 to help fund the incredible work The Aspinall Foundation do in protecting and re-populating the world’s most endangered species. It’s been an honour to work alongside their dedicated team, but 2015 marks our last year at the site.
We are very excited to announce that Hevy Fest 2016 will take place on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th August 2016 at a brand new site in Newhaven, Derbyshire. Chosen in response to fan feedback, the new site is right in the centre of the country, providing easy access from all over the UK.”
