NEWS: Guns N’ Roses original line-up to reportedly reunite for Coachella 2016!

Despite having one of the most sporadic, dysfunctional and sour relationships in the history of rock ‘n’ roll, it has been reported from multiple sources that the original line-up of Los Angeles rock legends Guns N’ Roses will reform and share the stage to headline next year’s Coachella festival in Indio, California.

Though an official statement is yet to be released to confirm this from the band, frontman Axl Rose, former founding members Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan, Steven Adler, or a representative from Coachella, their reunion has been highly rumoured.

Allegedly, several sources with knowledge of the band’s plans have highlighted this, a cryptic update has been made to the website (here) depicting the band’s original iconic logo, and during selected screenings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens across North America, footage of a concert crowd was shown with the band’s music overdubbed.

It appears that Billboard are reporting that the reunited band are also negotiating with promoters to play a stadium tour across the US in the summer of 2016, and is scheduled to be one of the first acts to play the new Las Vegas Arena, which is set to open on April 6th 2015.

Vocalist Axl Rose will appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live next week for an interview, where it’s expected that he will address the rumours surrounding the reformation and confirm the facts. The show will air on ABC on January 6th 2016.

Along with this, the organisers at Coachella will be confirming their official line-up on January 5th 2016.
