If you’re a big Green Day fan, this may be just for you. The notorious frontman of the three piece, Billie Joe Armstrong has teamed up with Reverb to sell some old guitars and equipment he used over his career with the band.
Of this equipment, you can try and grab his Gibson Les Paul Juniors, the 1970s Martin D-41 as seen in the music video for ’21 Guns’.
Here is what the frontman himself has to say about the new shop, which opened today, December 20th:
Used guitars, in particular, come with a history to them. I love the character you can see looking at a fretboard that’s been used—you can see where someone played it in clubs, in barns, in churches. We had a guitar come through our store, and you could just see the smoke from the clubs it was played in. It was beautiful. I hope the gear from the Green Day Reverb shop goes to someone that plays it.
You can shop at the Official Green Day Reverb Garage Sale now (here).
