Though they threw in the towel back in 2016, performing their final shows up and down the UK before parting ways, Welsh legends Funeral For A Friend have announced two further shows this October.
The band confirmed the news via their socials today, in which they explain that the two show in Cardiff and London are in aid of their friend and die-hard fan, Stuart Brothers, who has sadly been afflicted with a terminal illness. Proceeds from both shows will go to him and his family.
You can read the full post made by the band here.
The band have also confirmed that they’ll be mainly be performing material from the 2002-2007 era of their career (their ‘Between Order And Model’ EP up until ‘Tales Don’t Tell Themselves’).
OCTOBER 28 – CARDIFF, The Globe
OCTOBER 29 – LONDON, O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire
Tickets for both shows will be available from 10:00AM on Wednesday (August 7th 2019) for O2 Priority Customers, and on general sale from 10:00AM on Friday (August 9th 2019), and can be purchased online from the band’s official website (here).
Those who can’t make the shows but still wish to donate to the cause can do so here.
