After a decade together as a band, forming in 2008 from the ashes of fellow British rock contemporaries Reuben and Hundred Reasons, Surrey’s Freeze The Atlantic have announced that they’ll be calling it a day.
The band announced the news of their split via a statement on their Facebook page, along with plans of one final farewell show.

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the end of Freeze The Atlantic.
It’s been quite a challenge to keep things going in the last couple of years for various reasons and we feel that now is the right time to close the book on what has been an amazing journey.
Thanks to all of you who ever came to a show, bought an album/t-shirt and generally gave a damn over the last 10 years. You can’t begin to imagine how much this means to us.
Guy, Andy, Tom, Jon, Liv, Sean and Chris. x”
Freeze The Atlantic released three full-length studio albums since their formation, the latest being last year’s self-titled effort which was released through Alcopop! Records.
