Though having just released an acoustic EP called ‘Reprise’, Foxblood regret to announce that they have parted ways with their bassist/vocalist, Anthony Syle.
Upon joining the band in 2018, Syle featured on their sophomore full-length album ‘Grief & Mercy Sleep’, which came out last year.
You can read a full statement from both the band and Syle below.
“Today we are sad to announce that Anthony Syle has decided to step down from Foxblood.
Anthony is a vocal powerhouse, and together with Tom he produced an incredible performance for our second album ‘Grief & Mercy Sleep’ It’s very unfortunate to see him go, but we are excited to see what he does next!
A message from Anthony below:
After a lot of thinking I have decided to step away from my position in Foxblood. It’s not a decision I took lightly as this band has given me so much to be thankful for.
I want to say thank you to the band and team behind the scenes for welcoming me and having me along for the ride. I would also like to thank every single person that listened to or came to see the music I was a part of during my time with the band.
I wish the guys nothing but the best of luck with what they do in the future.”
