Having not long wrapped up a headline slot at this year’s Glastonbury Festival weekend, hard rockers Foo Fighters have confirmed that they’ll be returning to the UK to celebrate The O2’s tenth birthday as a live entertainment venue.
Originally being an exhibition centre known as the Millennium Dome, The O2 was opened to host live events from September 2007, and to celebrate its tenth birthday, the venue will be hosting a handful of shows from a range of acts.
You can watch a video announcement from Foo Fighters confirming their return to the UK to perform the show below:
Foo Fighters will perform their set at The O2 on September 19th 2017, with support acts for the night yet to be announced.
Tickets for the show are on sale now, and are expected to sell out very fast.
The band’s forthcoming ninth studio full-length album, ‘Concrete And Gold’, is set to be released on September 15th 2017 on Columbia Records.
