NEWS: Download Festival confirm line-up for Download TV virtual event!

Though Download Festival is sadly cancelled this year, the organisers have put together a virtual event in its place called Download TV, and the line-up has now been confirmed.

The event will host performances from this year’s intended main stage headliners – Iron Maiden, KISS, and System Of A Down – but also many other bands, including Deftones, Babymetal, Alter Bridge, The Pretty Reckless, and more.

Several bands will appear over the course of 2-3 hours each evening, which will see each artist take part in “tailormade programming where Downloaders can tune in and rock out.”

Download TV also hopes to recreate the festival experience during the day with various online activities planned including live Q&As, lockdown performances, tutorials, and more.

The virtual event will take place on June 12-14th 2020, the same dates that Download Festival was due to take place this year.
