NEWS: Diego Farias (ex-Volumes) has died, aged 27!

Some terrible news has emerged regarding former Volumes guitarist, Diego Farias, who has tragically passed away, aged 27.

The news of his death came to light from his brother and former bandmate, Gus, who took to Twitter and tweeted the following.

At the time of writing, no cause of death has been confirmed.

Diego announced his departure from Volumes roughly a week ago to focus on his career as a producer. He was one of the band’s founding members, and has featured and performed on all of the band’s full-length records and EPs.

Away from the band, Diego won two Latin GRAMMYs (Album of the Year and Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album) for his engineering work on Juan Gabriel‘s album, ‘Los Duo 2’. He also produced YouTube star Jake Paul‘s viral hit, ‘It’s Everyday Bro’.

We here at DEAD PRESS! offer our deepest sympathies to Diego Farias‘ family, friends, and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.
