After a ten year long career of inciting mosh pits, walls of death, and crowd killing across the UK, Europe, and the United States, it appears that Southampton based beatdown crew Desolated will be calling it a day and bringing the band to an end.
The band released a short statement confirming this news via their social medias, along with sharing that their final show together will be on September 30th at a hometown gig in Southampton.
You can read the band’s statement below:
This is the end
2007 – 2017
As from this summer we will no longer be playing shows or be an active band.
We are doing a run of final shows starting in June till September. As from September 30th desolated is dead. Will we come back in the future? That is unknown. For now these are the last shows we will ever play.

What can I say? Everything we ever did was a fucking pleasure. But for now it’s the end. Let’s end it properly.”
As it outlines in the above statement, Desolated have, however, said that they’re happy to take bookings for any shows before that final date.
