Manchester based up-and-coming metal outfit Derange have just dropped a video for their new song, ‘Divide’, a track that deals with toxic people and situations in your life.
The video (directed by James Kennedy) that accompanies the track was shot in Salford, and this is what the band had to say about it.
“‘Divide’ touches on the subject of being in a toxic environment with someone else. You’re exhausted, you’re aware how bad it is and you’re not yourself anymore. But you feel so attached by that someone that you feel like you can’t escape anymore.
Whilst difficult circumstances to be in, it sends a message of hope. It tells you can put your foot down, peel off that painful layer, and discover the superhuman in all of us that can overcome the tough encounters we endure.”
