After reforming a couple of years back in 2016 following a 3-year long hiatus, Brighton hardcore outfit Dead Swans have been performing a few shows and festival slots here and there. But now, the band have announced a handful of special shows this May where they’ll be performing their debut and currently only full-length album ‘Sleepwalkers’ in full.
The record was released back in 2009 through Bridge 9 Records, and features a bunch of fan favourites, including ‘So Far You’ve Only Made Things Worse’, ‘Ivy Archway’, and ‘Ascension’.
Speaking of the meaning behind the album almost a decade on and the reason why they’ve set up the short tour, the band explain, “This album means a lot of different things to all of us. As a band it was our first serious effort writing a solid collection of songs. It was written intensively in the months leading up to recording and captures musically and lyrically a moment in the band’s history. Before we move forward with writing and recording new music, we wanted to celebrate this record that means a lot to us. Come and show us what it means to you!”
All dates of the ‘Sleepwalkers’ tour are listed below.
MAY 10 – GLASGOW, Audio
MAY 11 – MANCHESTER, The Deaf Institute
