Following the departure of their original frontman Joby Fitzgerald back in July, Birmingham’s Cytota have now confirmed they have enlisted Griffin Dickinson as their new full-time vocalist. You can read a statement from Dickinson below:
“I’ve known the Cytota dudes since we first toured together, about 5 years ago now. So when I got the call asking if I wanted to try out as the new vocalist, it was an opportunity I had to seize. With the debut album coming up there is so much potential, I’m really excited about the future with these dudes; this is just the beginning!”
The band’s drummer Harry Jennings also had the following to add about the latest line-up addition:
“It feels like being reborn again with the addition of Griffin, already he’s bringing so much to the band and it’s going to be an exciting future. We’re really excited to be playing music and getting back on the road again with our brothers in Crossfaith!”
More news regarding the band’s forthcoming debut LP will be announced over the coming months.
