Reportedly working on their fourth full-length album and follow-up to 2016’s ‘Retrograde’, Dallas based post-hardcore troupe Crown The Empire have gone ahead and released a new demo song right out of the blue called ‘Everything Breaks’.
The song was leaked online through Twitter by the band’s frontman Andy Leo, who described it as an “anti-love” ballad which won’t be making it as a final recorded version on the forthcoming album due to it being “too sad”.
As you can expect, the tweets will probably soon be removed, but the one containing the Dropbox download link is still live (here), and you can also stream and give it a listen for yourself below.
The band are set to perform at this year’s Slam Dunk Festival, which will take place across at Leeds, Hatfield, and Birmingham across the May bank holiday weekend.
New surrounding the band’s yet-to-be-titled fourth album will be confirmed as it develops.
