Chris Fehn, one of the percussionists and backing vocalist for Iowan metal outfit Slipknot, is reportedly suing his bandmates for a financial dispute according to an article published by entertainment news outlet The Blast (here).
According to the report, Fehn allegedly claims that he was under the impression that money earned by the band from touring and merchandise was placed into a single company that dispersed the profits among the nine members, but has reportedly discovered that other members of the band have set up separate business entities that have also been collecting money from the band which he was unaware of.
Allegedly, Fehn has been specifically referring to fellow percussionist/vocalist Shawn Crahan and frontman Corey Taylor in these claims, though Taylor has since tweeted saying that fans a “gonna read a lot of bullshit” and to “WAIT TIL THE TRUTH COMES OUT”, seemingly referring to this situation, implying that things aren’t quite as they may seem.
You’re gonna read a lot of bullshit today. This is all I’ll say. JUST YOU WAIT TIL THE TRUTH COMES OUT.
Long Live The Knot.
