Off the back of the success of 2016’s ‘Aggressive’, the sophomore full-length album from Ohio metalcore unit Beartooth, which managed to see the band climb to the #25 spot on the Billboard 200, the band’s follow-up has been very much eagerly anticipated and awaited from their legion of fans. Now, frontman Caleb Shomo has shed some light on what we can expect from it.
In a tweet shared by the vocalist yesterday (November 19th 2017), shared that the band’s third album will be “very dark”, and that so far the record is bearing a feeling that is “disgusting emotionally”, with lyrical content that is “very heavy if you deal with depression and suicide.”

Hope y’all are ready for a very dark Beartooth album. So far LP3’s feeling more like disgusting emotionally. Some of these lyrics are very heavy if you deal with depression and suicide. Let’s all work through it together ✊
