With a 20-year long career, eight full-length album releases, seemingly relentless touring commitments, and respect and admiration from a plethora of their peers, Every Time I Die have some pretty hefty recognition from their hometown now too.

The city of Buffalo, New York have officially proclaimed that December 15th will be recognised as “Every Time I Die Day” in honour of the hardcore outfit.

The band responded to this honour online, along with providing an image of city council’s official proclamation document.

“We have loved this city for our entire lives and this weekend it officially loved us back. words cannot begin to express how much this means, but if you were there then you felt what we did. Not many bands get to do this for 20 years. That’s because not many bands have Buffalo, NY behind them. We are nothing without you. And for those that travelled, you’re always welcome here with us. At home.”

The band’s eighth and latest full-length release, ‘Low Teens’, is available now through Epitaph Records.

They’re speculated to be working on its follow-up in the coming months, with a release coming in late 2019.
