Those attending this year’s Sonisphere Festival in the UK on July 5th will be treated with a WW1 tribute air display, showcasing a unique and audacious ‘dog fight’ to commemorate the 100th anniversary of The Great War.
The display will be staged by The Great War Display Team, a group of pilots which includes Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson, for approximately 12 minutes in the skies above the Knebworth site beginning at approximately 6:00PM. For anyone interested in finding out more about The Great War Display Team’s planes, pilots and general activities, head to their official website (here).
