Sheffield’s Bring Me The Horizon have been teasing work on new material in the past few months, starting with some short studio updates that began back in March.
One of the more fleshed out songs they unveiled during those sessions appeared to be a song called ‘Parasite Eve’, and it looks like a complete studio version is coming in just a couple of weeks from now.
The band’s vocalist Oli Sykes took to Instagram to share the news that their “new song will be out June 10th”, with an image of him wearing a jumper with a print that reads “Parasite Eve”.
He also shared on Instagram a few days prior a short silent video with the caption “P.E”, obviously an acronym for the song title.
A few days before all of this, the band shared a short video of them seemingly attending a group video call. One of the responses was from the account of BBC Radio 1 with a suggestive glancing eyes emoji, suggesting they’ll have an involvement in its premiere.
Each Sunday evening, the station broadcasts its Rock Show which is hosted by Daniel P. Carter, which suggests that the song will premiere on BBC Radio 1 on June 10th 2020, during the show’s slot of 9pm-11pm.
In the meantime, the band have began sharing short studio updates once again, which you can watch here.
