Brent Walsh, vocalist/guitarist for I The Mighty, has been subject to allegations of sexual assault which recently surfaced on Twitter.
The woman who raised the allegations issued a lengthy statement using TwitLonger (a service that allows users to surpass Twitter’s character limit), in which she states that the incident took place on July 5th 2015.

Shortly after the allegations came to light, I The Mighty drummer Blake Dahlinger announced that he had decided to step down from the band.

Walsh took to Twitter a few hours later to issue his statement in response to the allegations via TwitLonger, which you can read below.

In light of the allegations, a short response was also posted via the band’s social account, in which they state they’re now on an “indefinite hiatus”.
