After some recent speculative reports, it has now been confirmed that singer/songwriter Billie Eilish will provide the official theme song for the forthcoming James Bond film.
The forthcoming film, James Bond: No Time To Die, will be the 25th in the spy movie franchise, and the yet-to-be-titled song (written by Eilish and her brother, Finneas) will be released on April 2nd 2020.
This is what Eilish had to say about contributing the song and being a part of the project.
“It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock.”
This also makes her the youngest artist in history to write and record a James Bond theme song, and will see Daniel Craig starring in his fifth and final appearance as Bond.
