Scottish rock trio Biffy Clyro were to embark on their UK tour through September and October, but sadly they’ve now been forced to postpone due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Taking to social media, the band apologised for the lateness of this decision as they tried (but unfortunately failed) to find alternate dates to rearrange too.
“Unfortunately, we are postponing our UK/Eire, Europe and Australia tour dates due to COVID-19. We were hoping that we were going to be able to announce replacement shows, which is why we have waited so long to postpone them, but unfortunately with the current situation that has not been possible. We’ll have news for you and be out to see you as soon as we can. We love and miss you all, thanks for bearing with us – we’ll be back as soon as possible.”
More details surrounding the rescheduled tour dates will be confirmed as they develop.
The band’s ninth studio album, ‘A Celebration Of Endings’, will be released on August 14th 2020 via 14th Floor.
