After some teasing over the past week or so, Atreyu have now debuted their new single, ‘Save Us’.

It’s their first single without former frontman Alex Varkatzas, who officially left the band last month following some initial speculation.

Moving forward, drummer/vocalist Brandon Saller will be taking up frontman duties, with Marc “Porter” McKnight covering unclean vocals and new recruit Kyle Rosa now sitting behind the kit.

This is what the band had to say about the track.

“‘Save Us’ is not only a reflection of where we are musically, but also a mirror to the world in this ominous moment in time. We chose to pair the powerful message with one of the heavier songs we’ve ever written. This song feels like the anthem that we all need right now. To us, it’s a call to action to light the fire in ourselves. We can begin to make great change — but only if we look inside first.”

You can stream and listen to ‘Save Us’ and check out its video below.

The track is expected to appear on the band’s yet-to-be-announced eighth album and follow-up to 2018’s ‘In Our Wake’.

More details will follow as they develop.
