With the first dates of their reunion tour yet to begin after officially announcing their reformation back in January, post-hardcore favourites At The Drive-In have announced that they have parted ways with guitarist, Jim Ward. Ward has been a part of the band since their inception back in 1993, and is one of the founding members alongside vocalist, Cedric Bixler.
The band posted a very short message via their Facebook account to confirm his departure from the band, which can be read below:
“As our ship prepares for voyage, we announce that Jim Ward will not be joining us on future journeys. We wish him well and are excited to see you soon.”
At this time, there’s no further news on the reason for Ward exiting the group.
As part of their reunion tour, which starts off in Europe, the band will be performing a show in Dublin and London, both of which are detailed further below:
MARCH 26 – DUBLIN, Vicar Street
MARCH 27 – LONDON, Roundhouse
Support on both dates will come from Le Butcherettes.
