Angels & Airwaves have just sold out their first tour in over seven years more or less instantly, and to celebrate such an impressive achievement, they’ve released a new song called ‘Kiss & Tell’.
Speaking about the track, founder and vocalist/guitarist Tom DeLonge had this to say about it.
“The beginning of the song is really an ode to The Beach Boys. It opens with three-part harmonies to create an introduction with multi-dimensionality. We wanted to create a sound that had electronic elements right alongside classic rock and pop punk melodic structures. Lyrically, this song is specifically about balancing on the edge of a razor blade. Doing something you’re not supposed to be doing, and although you might die while doing it, it’s still very much keeping you feeling alive.”
You can give ‘Kiss & Tell’ a listen below.
The band are currently working on their sixth studio album, and follow-up to 2014’s ‘The Dream Walker’.
More details surrounding future releases and activity will be confirmed as it develops.
