After a bit of downtime following the touring cycle of their latest record, ‘Phoenix’, post-hardcore outfit Alazka have announced that there have been some changes to their line-up.
In a statement issued by the band via their socials, they’ve confirmed that both guitarist Dario Sanchez and vocalist Kassim Auale are no longer members of Alazka.
“First off, we’d like to apologise to all of you for being so quiet for so long. The reason for our absence was something that hit us pretty hard and it took a lot of time to deal with.
It’s with heavy hearts that we have to announce the departure of Dario and Kassim. They’ve realised that they don’t share the same vision for the music we make and the way we see this band’s future anymore. There is no bad blood, we wish them all the best for their future endeavors. Please respect that this was their decision and that we have decided to continue forward.”
However, there is some good news to come from the band, as they release a brand new song under this new formation called ‘Dead End’, which you can stream and listen to below.
At the time of writing, it’s uncertain whether this track will remain as a stand alone single, or feature on a forthcoming EP or full-length album.
