It is suspected that Alaskan metalcore favourites 36 Crazyfists may have decided to break up, at least according to guitarist and founding member, Steve Holt.
In a post made on his personal Facebook account, Holt had the following to say, ending with “#RIP36CF”.
“I have never in my life given more to a cause or person to get dehumanized and betrayed. Nor had the extent of selfishness even ever crossed my mind. Family is family. This man is a coward, a thief, a fake, and I’m sad I fell under his spell, like many others… #RIP36CF”
It’s worth noting, however, that earlier this month vocalist Brock Lindow appeared on an episode of Jamey Jasta‘s (Hatebreed) podcast, The Jasta Show, in which he says that their next album – the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Lanterns’ – is about half-written.
You can check out the podcast episode in question below.
As such, it’s possible that Holt has decided to leave or has been removed from the band. There has also been no word from any other member of the band at the time of writing.
More details will be confirmed as they develop.
