Some of the biggest artists in the world of pop and rock have performed a joint and collaborative cover of the Foo Fighters‘ hit single ‘Times Like These’ as part of the BBC Live Lounge.
Just a handful of the 20+ names involved in the performance, alongside Foo Fighters themselves, include 5 Seconds Of Summer, Biffy Clyro, Yungblud, Dua Lipa, Rag N Bone Man, Bastille, and Ellie Goulding.
The performance premiered as part of BBC One‘s Big Night In programme, which was put together and broadcasted to help keep people entertained at home where they can remain safe in an effort to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
‘Times Like These’, which featured on the band’s 2002 album ‘One By One’, was chosen for its profound lyrics which inspire positive thinking in difficult times, something that’s indisputably relatable with the current global crisis.
Viewers were also asked to donate, if they were able, to the World Health Organisation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
