Though shows, tours and festivals have widely been affected by the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the intended release of a number of albums and EPs have also been impacted too.

The reasons for these delays are for a number of reasons, including being unable to return to the studio to continue and complete writing/recording, production plants being largely out of service to produce the physical copies, and also for promotional reasons to allow bands and artists to coincide the record’s release with when they can tour and perform live again.

Listed below are a number of records which have had their releases impacted, listed by the name of the band/artist from A-Z.

Please note that the list below is not exhaustive for a number of reasons; we’ll only mention acts and events relative to our core readership (rock, punk, metal, etc.), and the increasing volume is hard to completely cover as an independent publication, to name a few.
