What better way to spend your Valentine’s Day evening than in a small sweatbox like Sound Control whilst a handful of today’s brightest hopes in UK underground metal tear it a new one. That’s exactly what the Manchester crowd at Martyr Defiled‘s headline show have decided to do. Before their show that evening though, we caught up with frontman Matt Jones and drummer Richard Duffin to talk over a few things.

In this interview, the guys talk about their upcoming album ‘No Hope, No Morality’, the meaning behind its title, how the shoot went for recent track ‘Demons In The Mist’, resigning with Siege Of Amidia Records, bassist Harry George John‘s current status in the line-up, plans for their next music video, the difficulties of being in a band at the current stage of their career and more.
