Like Moths To Flames are a firm name in metalcore, and despite sticking with Rise Records for their whole careers, they opted for a change and moved over to UNFD last year.
With a new team behind them and their more melodic leanings with 2017’s ‘Dark Divine’, the Ohio troupe not only displayed a continued growth, but with a 3-track taster with their ‘Where The Light Refuses To Go’ they delivered some of their darkest work yet, but also reeled in a new wave of fans almost a decade down the line.
Now on the tenth anniversary of their inception, fifth album ‘No Eternity In Gold’ is on the horizon – albeit in a unanticipated climate (thanks, COVID-19).
We spoke with founding member and vocalist Chris Roetter about the new album, changing labels, his rollercoaster struggle with religion and faith throughout his career, plans to make his first ever comic book, Harry Potter, video games, and more.
You can check out the full interview below.
The band’s fifth full-length album, ‘No Eternity In Gold’, will be released on October 30th 2020 through UNFD.
