Upon the release of her sophomore album ‘Siberia’, Canadian electro-pop soloist Lights (which is now her legal name) took a more grittier and dubstep influence than in her previous efforts. Whether the rise in the genre over the past year or so has been a part of it or not, her popularity on UK shores has managed to grow despite the absence of her presence. On her February UK headline tour, the first in support of the record, we spoke to her about the influence in the album’s sound, how she feels about playing UK shows and more:
