It’s not often that over time a band decides to get heavier with their releases of material. If anything, it tends to go in the entirely opposite direction. Australian boys Hands Like Houses, however, proved themselves to be a rare exception to the rule with their third album, ‘Dissonants’.

At the Manchester date of their tour across the UK supporting Of Mice & Men, we caught up with guitarists Matt “Coops” Cooper and Alex Pearson to talk about ‘Dissonants’, how the creation of the album nearly broke the band, their love for Wetherspoons, their new video for their song ‘Perspectives’, and a lot more.
