The pandemic has put touring on ice for the foreseeable, but for some bands – including Escape The Fate – they’ve taken the unplanned off season to work on a new record and some other passions too.
The Californian outfit have a new album on the way called ‘Chemical Warfare’, which saw them return to producer extraordinaire John Feldmann, and is a release that they’re calling the start of a “new chapter” in their career. Guitarist Kevin “Thrasher” Gruft also took this off-time to dive fully into his life of a producer.
We spoke with Thrasher about the forthcoming record, why it’s been pushed back from February to April, working with Feldmann, some exciting projects in the pipeline with Travis Barker, his time producing ‘Tickets To My Downfall’ by Machine Gun Kelly, and more.
The band’s seventh studio album, ‘Chemical Warfare’, is out on April 16th 2021 via Better Noise Music.
