After parting ways with his previous involvement with post-hardcore favourites Of Mice & Men, Shayley Bourget went off to focus his creative output with his own project, Dayshell. Now with a full-length album under their belt, Dayshell are already making their debut appearance onto UK shores in support of The Word Alive.
Whilst over in the UK on the final tour date in Manchester, we spoke with Shayley to talk about the the project came together, how the writing and recording process differs to that with Of Mice & Men, how he’s found the reaction to their self-titled debut, his disappointment with the shoot for their ‘Share With Me’ music video and more:
