LIVE: 36 Crazyfists @ Download Festival (14/06/2008)

Date: June 14th, 2008
Venue: Main Stage, Download Festival

All the way from Alaska, alternative metal heads 36 Crazyfists came along to Donington, and with it not being their first time they should surely know what this type of crowd wants and how they should give it to them. With a setlist containing newer material from their recently released album such as ‘We Gave It Hell’, and older material such as ‘At The End Of August’ and ‘Bloodwork’, the band pull-off each moment of their show with skill and grace, to the point where they almost of the crowd before them in the palm of their hands.

Frontman Brock Lindow proves that he doesn’t lack confidence or physical stamina, with him constantly jogging about to different parts of the stage, getting the crowd involved with their show. Things come to a fantastic end when closer ‘Slit Wrist Theory’ is placed on the table, forcing a huge mosh pit to open up in the front few rows, and most people watching the band singing back the lyrics in the song’s catchy yet aggressive chorus line.

36 Crazyfists came along and shown that with now four major released albums under their belt, they still know how to kick up a good show with large audiences.
