Just over a year ago, British alternative rockers Young Guns released ‘Ones And Zeros’, the LP that saw them shifting heavily towards pop and was deemed a disappointment by a lot of their fans. Now, the band has returned to their more rock roots; their fourth full-length effort ‘Echoes’ might contain a few laid back moments, but it also holds some potential arena rock hits.

NEWS: Butserfest announce ‘Acoustic Shack’ line up, including Young Guns and Moose Blood!


Butserfest, the UK’s biggest alcohol and drug-free festival, have announced the 2016 line up for their Acoustic Shack stage.

The festival is scheduled to take place at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park in Petersfield on September 10th, although the Acoustic Shack has a very limited number of spaces and ticket holders can only gain access by winning special wristbands. Details on how to win will be announced by the bands playing on their social media pages. Check out the line-up below:

FEATURE: How bands and musicians reacted to the UK leaving the EU!


Yesterday (June 24th 2016), after hours and hours of voting across the country, and then those votes being counted up, the UK made the decision to leave the EU. For those who aren’t quite sure what that is, that’s the European Union – a selection of countries across Europe that work together in a huge number of ways, including economically, travel, and trade, if we’re going to be super brief about it.

The UK has been a part of the EU for over four decades, and following the poll results is the first country (or, set of countries as it includes England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland) to decide to leave the union after being a part of it. Of course, such a decision has split the opinions of many up and down the country, and as it affects the music industry, many musicians have also expressed their feelings on this historic decision.

LYRIC VIDEO: Young Guns – Bulletproof


UK alt. rock heroes Young Guns have unveiled the lyric video for their brand new single ‘Bulletproof’.

The song is lifted from their upcoming new album, penciled for an August released, vocalist Gustav Wood said of the song; ‘We recorded it at House of Loud in New Jersey with the brilliant David Bendeth this February, and are really excited with the results. Featuring Chris Kamrada on drums, it’s a big anthemic rock song and we hope you dig it as much as we do’. Check it out below:

The multi-stage May weekender consistently boasts the best line-up for all things punk rock, hardcore, metalcore, and everything inbetween.
