British pop-rockers Young Guns are to release a bunch of limited edition album boxsets for their two previous full-lengths, ‘Bones’ and ‘All Our Kings Are Dead’, and also one for their out-of-print debut EP, ‘Mirrors’. Each boxset will come with a collection of different exclusive gifts, along with a digital download of an acoustic EP. All of this for each boxset is outlined below:

This year marked the debut of what will now be our annual Reader Awards, a time for you the reader to cast your opinions our way on how you have found various things across the board of the music industry for the past 12 months. It was also a chance for those of you in bands to get your fanbase to let us know just why we should all take notice of you.
We asked you what you feel have been the best releases, most noteworthy bands, notable record labels, the best venues the UK has to offer and even to help offer some foresight to some bright stars that 2013 will offer us.

With their UK return of the Warped Tour in London next month, you would think that Vans have enough on their plate in terms of providing shows to the UK for the year. Still, they shove in an awesome line-up for their ever so popular Vans “Off The Wall” tour which, if anything, is a warm up to the main course at Alexandra Palace in November.

Returning for a second year and bringing in a fifth stage from The Forum just down the road, Hit The Deck Festival had once again brought a stellar line-up to the city of Nottingham to which rock, punk, metal and hardcore fans across the nation travelled far and wide to be a part of. With headliners across the stage consisting of Kids In Glass Houses, Cancer Bats, Rolo Tomassi and Zebrahead, it’s fair to say the Nottingham day festival was successful for a second year running.
