Wounds have been through some shit; just look at the album cover. Not just scars from a tragic accident, but the demise of a family member all within an incredibly short space of time. Heartbreak is unquestionably one of the the most powerful artistic influences of all. Just ask Marvin Gaye, Johnny Cash or Kanye West in a few years time (you’ll see). However, instead of sliding away into the darkness, Wounds have emerged with an album which jars as much as a nihilistic celebration of life would.
