Described as “experimental” and “minimalist”, Wooden Shjips‘ sound is definitely a world apart from the sounds you’d hear on rock radio, but the band has definitely found a level of success within the genre. THe band’s fourth LP, ‘Back To Land’, offers up another slice of well-produced psychedelic rock, building on the band’s previous release, 2011’s ‘West’.
