Post-hardcore outfit Woe, Is Me have announced they have parted ways with now former drummer, Austin Thornton, which in turn has resulted in the band consisting of just one original member, guitarist Kevin Hanson. A full statement regarding Austin‘s departure can be read below:

Along with the three main festival dates of Slam Dunk Festival (Leeds, Hatfield, Wolverhampton), there has now been dates confirmed in Wales, Scotland and Ireland for this year. All three dates will feature select bands from the main festival line-up and be headlined by Four Year Strong. Pierce The Veil will also join on the Welsh and Scottish date. Returning for its 8th consecutive year, Slam Dunk Festival have confirmed its first wave of bands for the line-up that will create 2013′s festivities. After most of the line-up dropping out one by one a few months after vocalist Tyler Carter left the frame, it would be fair to say a lot of Woe, Is Me fans were worried about the band’s future, reduced down from seven to three in a matter of weeks.
