The beauty of pop-punk is that it’s the perfect gateway genre for kids to enter the world of alternative music. Growing up with bands like Simple Plan, All Time Low or We The Kings (depending on your generation) allows your appreciation of rock music to develop before finding it too ‘lame’ or ‘uncool’.
