It seems already that 2013 has a lot in store for Arizona pop-rock five-piece, The Summer Set. The band have already wowed crowds and won over fans with their catchy new single, ‘Fuck U Over’, and have an upcoming studio album ‘Legendary’ soon to be released. It’s safe to say that you’ll be hearing a lot more from this band this year, and if you haven’t heard of them already, there’s no doubt that you will be. We caught up with singer, Brian Dales, before the band’s set with All Time Low in Glasgow to chat about the upcoming plans for the year and his super powers:

If there’s a band that will always pull a huge crowd in, it’s All Time Low, with tonight being no exception. Lines of teenagers wrap around the corner of Glasgow’s O2 Academy, hoping to snake their way to the front of the crowd. The capacity of the venue is 1,300 and the show is completely sold out. This isn’t really a surprise considering the line-up.

Returning for a second year and bringing in a fifth stage from The Forum just down the road, Hit The Deck Festival had once again brought a stellar line-up to the city of Nottingham to which rock, punk, metal and hardcore fans across the nation travelled far and wide to be a part of. With headliners across the stage consisting of Kids In Glass Houses, Cancer Bats, Rolo Tomassi and Zebrahead, it’s fair to say the Nottingham day festival was successful for a second year running.

Despite it being their first ever headline tour of the UK, the hype surrounding pop-punk quintet We Are The In Crowd is high. Their latest album ‘Best Intentions’ set the buzz alight following its release towards the end of 2011, so we decided to go along to their show in Manchester, the night before their set at this year’s Hit The Deck Festival in Nottingham. The pictures of the show, including support acts Super Prime and The Summer Set, can all be seen for your viewing pleasure below:

I’ve been told many times over the years that I have the music taste of a 14-year-old girl, but never has this been more apparant than tonight. As I sit in the bar with a pint of cider, waiting for the doors to open, suddenly a stampede of screaming teenagers tears through the University of Manchester Students Union and head to Academy 2 where tonight, pop-punk quintet We Are The In Crowd will entertain a room filled with teenage girls, their boyfriends and one bearded 22-year-old: me.
