Note: As only two members of the site were able to review the festival weekend, we were sadly unable to cover every band performing throughout the festival.
One of the longest running popular music festivals in the UK, the Reading/Leeds Festival weekend is well reknowned and has been hugely popular since its inception. This year, we made an appearance at the Leeds site of the event, and what a (muddy) weekend it was. With the co-headline act appearing for Leeds having Pulp headline and close the festival, there’s nothing like a bit of nostalgia to end a fantastic weekend of music.

I’m not a fan of mathematics, but when The Strokes are involved I’m definitely intrested in angles. The band’s new album ‘Angles’ may have taken the band 5 years to create, but good things come to those who wait, and The Strokes have finally come back to conquer the music world all over again with a brilliant comeback record.
Finally! The band that changed it all are back to save rock and roll again in their costumes of converse and leather jackets… of course. The Strokes make their (very) long awaited comeback with their new single ‘Under Cover Of Darkness’, the first piece of new material to be heard from the band in over 4 years.
Indie rock outfit The Strokes will release their fourth studio album, entitled ‘Angles’, on March 21st (UK)/March 22nd (US). The album’s release will be preceeded by the release of the single ‘Under Cover Of Darkness’ next month. The full tracklisting of the album is as follows:
01.) Machu Picchu
02.) Under Cover Of Darkness
03.) Two Kinds Of Happiness
04.) You’re So Right
05.) Taken For A Fool
07.) Call Me Back
10.) Life Is Simple In The Moonlight
