After a two year absence following the undoubted success they had back in 2011, Knebworth’s Sonisphere Festival has finally returned, once again hosting a stellar line-up across its three days, including metal giants Iron Maiden and Metallica, and dance/rock hybrid pioneers The Prodigy. During her time working with bands since March, music publicist Em Van Duyts took with her a Converse canvas bag, with which she used to raise awareness of the One Love For Chi charity. The past 11 years have proved The Bronx to be a band unable to tie down. Although they’re well known for being a hardcore punk band, they have ventured into territory that bands of that style are unlikely to. Perhaps the contrast between The Bronx and their side-project, Mariachi El Bronx, is what makes them stand out. Beneath the Mariachi attire is a band who know exactly where they’re going and what they want.
