NEWS: Sworn In part ways with guitarist, Zakary Gibson!

After spending five years in total with Sworn In, originally joining the band back in 2011, guitarist Zakary Gibson has now stepped away from the band, as confirmed in a couple of tweets that Gibson posted via his official Twitter account earlier this week. He featured on both of the band’s full-length records, ‘The Death Card’ and ‘The Lovers/The Devil’, the latter of which was released last year.

Grayslake metalcore five-piece Sworn In miss the mark with uninspiring second album, ‘The Lovers / The Devil’. The follow-up to the band’s popular 2013 debut ‘Death Card’, ‘The Lovers / The Devil’ seems somewhat subdued. It’s still a heavy record, hurling its weight around with pummelling drums and juddering riffs, but the visceral edge has been dulled slightly.
